Feels like London.

Evening gents.

As some of you may or may not be aware, the entire state of Queensland was hit with mother natures garden hose a few months ago. Since then, people have been cleaning up and repairing houses, in relatively fine weather. But oh how the threads of fate hate Australia.

In case you're not aware, I have mild SAD, which is a very common disorder in which I get slightly moody as the weather changes. So you can imagine my mood when I look outside and can't see more than 10 metres forward, or up for that matter. I had been blessed with an incredibly thick fog, and though it dissipated during the day, it comes back with a vengeance every morning. Lucky my brand new super deluxe amazingly expensive one bedroom apartment has heating.

Anyway, the point is, this weather is frequently reminding me of my short jaunt to London. Which I hated. I am, however, returning this year at some point, as the entire Irish side of my family thought it was a good idea to move there. Hooray.

Also, if there are any other Brisbane dwellers reading this, I demand to know where you keep your quality coffee. Someone said something about West End, but that's an entire boat trip away.

Not much to update. Too many books to read for assessment. Dislike repeating tests on rats.

Take care of yourselves, I'll try update more.

  1. I've read about SAD before--though you're the first that's mentioned it in a blog.
